ummm... wow... idk... i agree too many chiefs and not enough Indians but jeeeeez lady... u go hard... a lil bit of respect go a long way... and i think that is wat is lacking...
Let me comment on the "I don't need no man" section. Yes, many black women did start feeling this way after the feminist movement, but that's also because of the lack of male influence in the house. Let's look at our generation alone and see how many single female households there are... all for different yet most similar reasons (the man is just not around). Black females then had to teach themselves how to be the "man" and the "woman" of the relationship in order to properly raise their children. If the woman did not grow this backbone and realize that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them, rather than sit at home and wait for a MAN to come and do it for them, then where would they be. Yes, I agree family is first. But black woman have been the lowest of all classes for far too long and now that they are getting their ish together, it's wrong? Let's look at the percentage of Black woman that are receiving higher education and doing something with their lives, as oppose to our black males. Black males needs to step it up so that this barrier wouldn't exist. If I am paying half of everything, yes I believe we should be equal. I should have as much of a say as my husband. At the end of the day, my role is greater... Not only am I bringing in half the income, but I am also the primary caretaker of our children. Black males need to learn how to cherish a good black woman. That's the problem!
